The Short Of It
Tyler Hooker is the Stockroom Technician for the Department of Physics & Astronomy at Humboldt State University. He loves Mathematica a little more than he should, and has a downright unhealthy obsession with lasers.
About Me
I was born in Arcata. I grew up in Arcata and went to school in Arcata. I graduated from Humboldt State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Physics. I started work as the Physics Stockroom Technician in 2012 and have been enjoying working with my old teachers every day since.
My Dog Rosie 
This is Rosie the pug. She is unquestionably the greatest dog in history, and easily the cutest creature you'll ever see. She is quite the trickster, and will stop at nothing to scam food away from you. But don't be fooled by her trim athletic figure: she is quite well fed.
The Students 
The Physics Majors at HSU are some of the best students I've had the pleasure of working with. The above picture is the Raspberry Pi raspberry pie they baked and presented me at the end of the Spring 2014 semester, demonstrating that they're not only clever, but thoughtful as well!
