Tri-fold brochure designed for Humboldt State University's art department. Intended for a wide audience and varied age group, with the goal of being informative and attractive to potential students and their parents, as well as representative of the department and what it offers.
I chose a simple contemporary layout that utilizes a simple sans serif font at different weights to differentiate text from headers and titles, and accents of red and orange to create movement and energy.
The simplicity of the design doubles as its greatest strength by making the brochure attractive to all age groups, genders, and races. The bright colors embody the department's energy and enthusiasm, and accent photos speak to the hands-on and liberal nature of the department.
