Label and six pack carrier designed for fictitious beer "Divine Dawg Amber Ale" for the fictitious brewing company "Jefferson State Brewery".
The design is intended for a craft beer demographic, which is most commonly males from the ages of about 21-40, but increasingly includes females, as well as younger and older age groups. This demographic is typically an "after five crowd" and tends to enjoys a more light-hearted style of design. An abstract geometric dog logo combined with a fun type combination achieves this goal, and makes this packaging inviting and enjoyable to anyone drinking this beverage.
The six-pack carrier continues the fun feel throughout the packaging, with an asymmetrical motif of dogs on one flap, and a typographic description of the beer on the other. The original logo is featured on both the front and back panels.
