Logo, stationary and business card designed for local restaurant in arcata, california.
Restaurants come a dime a dozen and there are thousands of cafe logos out there. My design needed to be simple and memorable, while still encompassing the sophisticated yet down to earth feel of this establishment.
Three Foods Cafe is a unique business specializing in organic, local and eclectic cusine. Their goal is to bring more love to the world through their food, which is a concept that inspired much of my design. They serve a wide range of clientele from wealthy professionals to penny pinching college students, and their vibe is a mix of fancy and fun.
The friendly and fun circular logo is welcoming to all genders, races, and age groups, and bright vermillion and warm chocolate hues make the logo pop and attracts the eye while evoking feelings of fun and energy. the thin all caps font is elegant and beautiful, but not quite perfect, incorporating the fun, quirky feel back into the design. Its simplicity also lends to its use in multiple mediums, such as in print, on clothing, or on other merchandise like coffee cups or magnets.
