REDOX EQUATION BALANCING PRACTICE PROBLEMS

Balance the reactions below in aqueous basic solutions:

a. Fe(OH)_2(s) + MnO₄^- Fe₂O_3(s) + MnO_2(s)

b. MnO₄^- + HO₂^- MnO_2(s) + O_2(g)

c. ClO₂ ClO_2^- + ClO_3^-

d. CrO_4^- + N₂H₄ CrO_2^- + N_2(g)

e. Ag_(s) + CN^- + O_2(g) Ag(CN)₂^-

f. Co_(s) + ClO^_- Co(OH)_2(s) + Cl^_-
