About Me
My name is Rebecca, but
my friends call me Becky. I transferred to Humboldt State from College of the
Redwoods in the fall of 2013 as a junior. I attended College of the Redwoods as
a Chemistry major, but changed my major to ERE. I am a full-time mom. I
returned to school in the fall of 2008, after working full time in the public
and private sector.
I have lived in Humboldt County most of my life. I was born in
Eureka. I was raise in Trinidad. I currently live in Fortuna. I left Humboldt
briefly in my twenties and lived in Redding, CA and Carmichael, CA. I have
visited lots of places and truly believe that Humboldt Co. is the best place to
live in the world.
Work Experience
I have lots of work experience, but very little of it is relevant
to my major. I worked as a bookkeeper for a local construction company for 15
years. I also worked for the County of Humboldt, Department of Social Services
for about 5 years.
I hope to add some interesting and relevant work/volunteer experience
throughout the next semesters.
