I earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at UC San Diego before getting my PhD in Biostatistics at UC Berkeley. Research interests focus on applied statistics. I provide services as a statistical consultant, providing consulting services to students, faculty, the community, and industry on a wide variety of statistics and its uses. Besides a year teaching statistics at the University of Auckland (New Zealand), I have since been a professor in Humboldt State University's Mathematics Department in Arcata, California. I am currently serving as department chair for both the Mathematics and Computer Science departments.
