Working with Dr. Golightly, I have initiated a mark-sight study to determine the abundance and density of fishers on managed timberlands in coastal Northwestern California. Techniques include live-trapping and marking of individuals with uniquely colored eartags, followed by a sighting effort using 44 remotely triggered cameras.
