Tentative Supervision Schedule, Spring 2010
University Supervisees

The following is a tentative idea of the six supervisions between each of you and I during the Spring semester:

Please note the following:

  1. You will be making a total of three (3) ten-minute videos of your teaching. The first will be watched and evaluated by you and I in February and will not be a part of the PACT. The other two are part of your PACT submission and I will be able to view one of these during the last week in March or the first week in April.
  2. Note that the first supervision will occur in late January. If you have not officially "taken over" the class, you must teach a lesson for one-day during this two-week period.
  3. All observations are onsite, except for the two VELR (Video Elicited Learning Responsse) discussions which will take place in my office at the designated time.
  4. For all four onsite observations, you must complete a lesson plan using the Social Science template in either the narrative form or the block form. When I arrive, please hand me your "Pre-Observation" form and your complete lesson plan.
  5. During the two video observations conducted in my office, you must complete the VELR form before you arrive in my office. This means you must have watched your video and completed the form prior to our meeting.
