Dialog on Race Assessment Form
Directions: Please type your short answers to the following questions and then turn them in on Tuesday, November 15th.
- In addition to completing the Library assessment of the the Wherever There's a Fight display, you were required to attend either the Elinson and Yogi talk, the Precious Knowledge film, or another Dialog on Race event. Briefly describe the other event you selected to attend.

- A primary focus of this year's Dialog on Race was to examine the history of civil liberties in California. How did your involvement (viewing the library display and attending a DOR event) improve your understanding of this history?
- How well has reading the book Wherever There's a Fight helped you to better understand the voices and actions of Californians who fought for their Civil Liberties. Please provide at least three examples from the book to explain your answer.
- The goal of the DOR is largely to encouragestudents to engage in a dialog about issues related to race and social justice. Were you actively or passively involved in this discussion. Please provide examples to explain your response.
