A Smidge About Me
Originally from Grassvalley, CA, I migrated to Arcata in Humboldt County, CA, when I was six years old. I grew up in a household with my father and grandmother in more houses than I care to admit. I have played piano now for fifteen years and have experience playing violin, guitar, flute, singing, and the dulcimer. Camping, biking, traveling, and cooking are my favorite hobbies, as well as spending time with my family. I grew up with engineering strongly in my life, having my father gone through the HSU ERE program and engraining math, science, and environmental principles in my head since my infancy. After I took a few Elementary Ed classes, I decided to stop fighting my love of math and dive into the program myself.

I've travelled to Canada and Ireland thus far and hope to study abroad again in France during my college career.
