Department Brochure

Visual Problem:

To design a Humboldt State University department brochure. The parameters were to choose any department at HSU and create a double parallel folded brochure. The brochure had to contain necessary information about the department of choice, not to be overloaded with information. The information should flow throughout the layout taking notice of all important topics from the department.

Solution:

I first created a sketch template on paper of my original design for the brochure. From this I found that I should decrease the information found on the departmentÕs website. From the instructor I was given permission to use found images pertaining to the department. After editing my images through Photoshop and formatting them to the brochure I found that the layout would not work with the information. I then changed my layout twice before settling on the final design.
