About Me

Hi there, my name is Kelsey Burrell. I'm a first-year Environmental Resources Engineering student at Humboldt State University and a long-time resident of the North Coast of California. Part of the reason I chose this undergraduate program is to become proficient in water resources engineering, as I plan to devote my professional life to developing solutions to the impending global water crisis. At this juncture, I'm most interested in exploring watershed management and restoration, and water quality engineering. Throughout my time at HSU I will be fully devoted to my school work and peppering my free time with conferences, lectures, volunteer work, and internships that will support my professional development. I have a lot of math and science under my belt at this point, and I'm enthusiastic to begin putting that knowledge to good use.
