My name is Karl Oman and I am an Environmental Resources Engineering major at Humboldt State University. My specific focus within the program is energy resources. I am an active member of HSU's chapter of Engineers Without Borders and have an interest in working in Latin America after graduation. My hometown is Long Beach, WA. I attended the Colorado College for three years and studied English before deciding to start in the engineering program at HSU. I am a commercial fisherman by profession and work in Alaska when I am not attending school. Outside of my engineering studies I enjoy travel, literature, and wrenching on my Volkswagen Rabbit diesel pickup truck.
