These projects address the technical issues of lighting products in order to enhance the best aspects of each object. My approach was very hands-on, utilizing the ability of the camera to record to long periods of time in order to shape the light to my vision. Using a flashlight or softbox, the light is shaped to highten the textures and facets of each product. After multiple iterations, the final image is then refined in Photoshop to eliminate any destracting elements such as dust or scratches. My skill set includes studio strobe lighting knowledge, 4x5 camera use, film development and darkroom experience.
