About
As you may guess, my name is Joseph Gustavson and I am a self-professed designer + photographer. Both my design work and photography utilize simplicity to communicate strong ideas quickly and employ color to evoke befitting emotions. Research is the foundation of all my designs which helps to establish the design direction and compare competing illustrations. After multiple iterations of sketches and ideas, the final design is then realized. I endeavor to avoid the cliché but still provide a recognizable design in a universally understandable manner.
