I have participated with my dogs in obedience and agility competitions and animal assisted activities (nursing home and school visits as well as work with Special Olympics. I served on the board of directors of the Sequoia Humane Society from 1996-2002. I am currently a member of the Lost Coast Kennel Club, Rx:Pets, and volunteer at the Humboldt County Animal Shelter.
