ASSUMPTIONS:

Student be able to enter in junior year
ORGANIZATION:
Program will be directed by a new committee (Neuroscience
Major Committee) consisting of no more than 5 faculty who are
each interested and working in Neuroscience. The committee will
elect its chair who will handle the day to day business of the
committee and all members will advise students.
Special programs and monthly meetings will be held in order
to encourage communication among the students and faculty and
acquaint all with each person's activities and to insure that
students are thoroughly aware of what is needed to be accepted
into Neuroscience Ph.D. programs.
In consultation with their advisors students will choose a
course of study directed toward the study of vertebrates or
invertebrates either at the micro or macro level of analysis.
