Researcher Misconduct:
Fraudulent activity, e.g. changing the actual results of an
		experiment, honorary authors, partial publication,
duplicate publications, security of data (video tapes,
successes/failures), unpermitted use of results for
personal gain (genes, cell lines, data used in
		advertisements)
Treatment of Participants, e.g. applying unhealthy stimuli
		radiation, drugs, germs, stressors), humiliation,
		embarrassment, physical pain.
	Informed Consent, HSU's, p 110

misconceptions.
dehoaxing – convince participant that fraudulent info was
really fraudulent.
desensitizing – If participants now have a different view of
selves, extensively help them deal with their new-found potential
for good or ill.
I)	Correcting and removal of undesirable consequences by long-

beneficial treatment.

Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
