I play basketball here at Humboldt

and it was hard when we were in season traveling every other week.  I was loosing twenty points per day I was gone and so I took advantage of Mr. Floss's extra credit activities. I went to different speeches around campus and in the community and for each write up I did, one absence was removed. It was an easy way to earn the twenty points back and it helped me in the class.  By going and seeing different public speakers I was able to see different approaches in the speeches. I'm glad I took advantage of Mr. Floss's fair way to make up the absences. It helped me with my speeches and my grade in the class. It was a fun and easy way to earn extra credit in this communication class.
