My name is Jackson Ingram and I was born in El Paso, Texas, and was raised in Sacramento, California. I am currently a freshman majoring in Environmental Resources Engineering at Humboldt State and minoring in Physics. My interest in this program is renewable energy systems and technology. Some of the fields that interest me are solar power, and Photovoltaic systems for the use of energy production and water treatment. I hope to eventually get a masters degree in Environmental Resources Engineering, and continue my studies at the Masdar Institute in the United Arab Emirates. I also hope to travel the world and get the opportunity to work as an Environmental Engineer in a foreign country.
As for work experience, I have worked for the United States Soccer Federation as a referee for the past four years as soccer is one of my favorite things to do. I also have experience working as a carpenter with Sierra Stair Works in Loomis, California for two years.
