Erick Eschker
Professor of Economics

I teach in the Department
of Economics, am a research associate at the California Center
for Rural Policy, and am a faculty member in the International
Studies Program at Humboldt
State University.
My current research focuses on regional economic issues, like housing
and real estate,
healthcare, and entrepreneurship. I am also interested in sports
economics and player salaries and performance in the National
Basketball Association and I have written about government transfer
payments between generations and the effect on saving rates and
generational equity.
