Hi, my name is Emily Klee and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in Novato, California and had a really fun childhood. I lived in Bell Marin Keys where I had a lagoon in my backyard, so I've always been into watersports such as wakeboarding, waterskiing, tubing, and jet skiing. Growing up, I spent most of my time doing gymnastics. I started when I was about 2 years old and joined a team and started competing at age 8. During my sophomore year of high school, I decided to focus more on school and less on gymnastics, so I quit the team. I really miss spending my time in the gym and being able to do the crazy things I was capable of, but it's been nice finding other things I like to do. Some of my other hobbies include hiking, camping, shopping, and going on adventures.
When I first came to Humboldt State, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I've always enjoyed leaning subjects like math and science and wanted to do something related to one of those fields. When I was signing up for classes, I became interested in environmental resources engineering then suddenly realized that is what I want my major to be. I have no experience in this field, but I’m excited to get into it and see if I like it.
I'm not done with this, still Planning on adding more.
