. For my series I wanted to create photographs that explored diversity. I felt that hair was a great focus for my series because everyone has different hair, it is a factor of our personality that has many factors on our lives. For some hair isnŐt seen as importance to them or affects them personally. While others have troubles with their hair because of societies definition of what acceptable hair is. This photo series looks at each personŐs hair as an extension of himself or herself. Hair moves freely as its own being on top of our heads. It can be long or short, some donŐt have much hair to play with but each photo says something different about each person and their hair. The comfortably in the poses, the movements of the arms, and the movement of the hair , these all relate to each individual. Even what direction each person looks in is a little different every time. These people were just students and other people walking around in the art quad. I wanted to use people that were on campus to show the different varieties of hair on campus.
