My name is Danielle Holter. I am originally from El Paso, Texas where I was enrolled in the Civil Engineering program at the University of Texas at El Paso. I am now currently living in Eureka, California. I work full time at Bear River Casino Hotel and attend college at Humboldt State University, majoring in the Environmental Resources Engineering program. One day I would like to become a successful engineer in my community where I can help out the environment while making it smart and accessible for the public's daily use. My interests are design through Land Development Desktop Computer Aided Drafting and Design, such as grading. In my personal time I watch a lot of racing including NASCAR and NHRA and love to explore different beautiful places around the Humboldt county area.
I have two years of technical training specifically geared towards drafting, both table drafting and AutoCAD. I worked at a civil engineering firm for three years thereafter, learning about civil design. I created construction documents on city, school, commercial and residential projects which included grading, drainage and erosion control plans. I had a good amount of practice with grading sites and was learning how to work on projects with cut and fill and design of ponding areas.
