My name is Daniel Leeds. I am currently enrolled in the Environmental Resource Engineering program at Humboldt State University. I am a returning transfer student having completed 96 semester units at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. I have a lot of experience with agricultural work including growing crops, testing and treating water, working on specialty crop production systems, designing nutrient solutions, and customizing soils. I am very interested to understand agricultural processes on a scientific level. It is my goal to work in the agricultural industry as a consultant, move into policy regarding agricultural and environmental standards, and eventually own a company that produces soil amendments on an industrial scale.
I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy gardening, body surfing, free diving, fishing, disc golfing, hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, glass art, foraging and cooking, just to name a few activities.
It's all about having fun and feeling good!
