My name is Caitlin M. Gundert. I am a student at Humboldt State University studying Environmental Resources Engineering and Geology. After graduating High School in Roseburg, Oregon, I finished my Associate of Science degree at Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe, California. I then transferred to Humboldt State University as a junior in Fall of 2015. I am now a full time student, and I am working on my B.S. while staying involved with the Geology Club. I am excited to learn more about the engineering program and eager to become involved with the community. I am interested in waste water treatment plants, including the Arcata Marsh and have toured the water treatment plants in both Arcata and South Lake Tahoe, California. I am a strong advocate for bicycles as a primary mode of transportation here in Arcata to avoid the over use of fuel combustion vehicles, and long distance bicycle touring is one of my favorite hobbies. As an Environmental Engineering student, I try to incorporate sustainability into my every day life!
