The idea for the salsa labels comes directly from the origin of salsa itself. Salsa was first used by the Aztecs and you can see that inspiration directly in the pattern that I used on the main top label. Also, the colors directly correlate with the type of salsa that it is representing. For example, the Pico De Gallo, which means rosters beak in Spanish has the colors red, white, and green because this salsa in commonly know as salsa mexicana, because it is representative of not only the culture but also has the same colors as the Mexican flag. The green salsa is based of the green tomato like fruits that are used called tomatillos and the red is simple based on the red peppers that are very common in red salsa.
