I am from Weiser, Idaho, which is a small, rural town near the state capital, Boise, ID. I previously attended The University of Idaho and studied Chemical Engineering for a short, and unproductive period of time. I refocused my studies at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon, majoring in Natural Resources.
I found out about Humboldt State University while working as a white water rafting guide on the Trinity River. I am very excited about the ERE program and looking forward to making many new, potentially lifelong friendships. Coming from the Great Basin watershed, I am also very excited to reside near the ocean and develop my recreational appreciation and scientific knowledge surrounding the mighty seas.
