I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Davis
in 2002. I worked on mathematical biology problems with my
Mogilner. (If you are interested in more specifics, please
check out my Research page.)
In the 2002-03 academic year I worked at the at the HSU Math Department
as a lecturer. I started my postdoctoral work with Greg Smith on
computational cell biology/calcium signaling in the fall of 2003.
I have continued this work with him until June 2005 from the University of Utah Mathematics
Department where I enjoyed the hospitality of the Math Bio Group.
I used to compete in triathlons, but lately I've primarily been running. Check out my favorite local races: Humboldt Redwoods Marathon, Half Marathon and 5 K and the Clam Beach run.
