Self Portrait

Hello, my name is Barbara Becerra form Southern California. I’m a senior at Humboldt State University graduating with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Business. My main focus in Art is photography and graphic design. I became interesting in photography at a young age when all I wanted was to capture memories from my day-to-day life experiences. Later as I grew older my photographs started to capture the way I perceive life through my perspective.My photographs represent the way I perceive life. I am filled with the hunger for experiences, love, and life as a whole. I also crave the connections and the closeness to others around me. I tend to find the beauty in every aspect of life, whether negative or sad. I want to fill this world with more of that beauty that can’t be seen but felt through the images. I don’t believe there’s a difference between all of us on this planet. Humans and all living things on Earth balance each other out like yin and yang and there should be this tranquility with a flow, naturally.
