Biography

My name is Anna Wagner and I am currently a second year at Humboldt State University. I grew up in Maine, and my family recently moved to Vermont. I moved out to the west coast to see the beauty and get away from home. I picked Humboldt State University, thinking I was going to study Marine Biology. After my first year here I decided that was not the track I wanted to take. Hence, why I am sitting in this class as an undeclared major. I am very interested in waste water treatment, renewable energy and, biofuels. I care a lot about the environment. I love to be outside enjoying nature, I also love learning about nature, soils, plants, and animals.
Professional work experience
I have yet to have any experience dealing with engineering. I am interested in helping third world countries become sustainable countries. My interest has sprouted from my love of traveling and speaking Spanish. I have traveled throughout Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Costa Rica. I plan to return to these countries and help with water treatment, bio digesters, sustainable building, and solar power.
