International Typographic Style is a kind of graphic design created in Switzerland in the 1950Õs also known as Swiss Style. The style utilizes cleanliness, readability, and objectivity. Characteristics indicative to the style are asymmetric layouts, use of a grid, flush left, ragged right text. For my Zoppˇ Family Circus poster I wanted to convey the fun of the circus. I took circles, which are a familiar shape in the circus and played with different arrangments using a grid. I wanted the typography to stand out above all else, while maintaining a continuous movement through the entire poster..
