For this assignment I was to create my own craft microbrew. We were also to design a company logo with the given name, ÒWest Coast Brewery.Ó Using only an adjective paired with a noun for the title, I came up with ÒEl Gato LocoÓ, inspired by my own crazy cat. I decided to do a pen and ink illustration and scan it in to work with it digitally. I wanted bold colors that came across as royal, that also stood out among the many beers it would sit with. For the West Coast Brewery logo I wanted to do something a little different. I used the pen tool to create a medallion and used the initials for the inner part of the logo.
